Killer grub in a total dive environment.

I pulled off the freeway in search of some good food to both fill my belly and avoid a horrible traffic jam. It's a great feeling going to a place rated 5-stars on yelp and avoiding crappy fast food.

A true dive hole-in-the-wall, this place is tiny. Only two tables inside and three tables on the sidewalk out front. Good sized menu, excellent service, real plates and flatware and great food. The server mentioned the Thai basil as a crowd favorite and it did not disappoint. White meat chicken, a delicious sauce and lots of veggies made this a delightful lunch.

This location went under new ownership and though I really wanted to like it because it is two blocks from our home, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the spare ribs, spicy eggplant with chicken, and chow mein (I am a huge fan of the Thai version) Thai food is my all time favorite and the more authentic the better... my husband is also half Thai..so here goes and I don't like to give bad reviews, but I think this one was called for.

Spare ribs: Good sized portion for the price
                       Taste was pretty good
Meat was on the dry side (overcooked)
                       Sauce was overwhelmingly thick

    Chow mein: NOT EDIBLE.
Noodle way over cooked, a big pile of mush.
Beef was chunky and kind of slimy

Spicy Eggplant: The eggplant was good and the sauce         was pretty delish,
                       Again the chicken was  chewy.

I may muster up the courage to try this place out again sometime, but for now it ranks the lowest in Thai restaurants in Glendora.

    Overall a 4.5 start experience.

Service was stellar 5 stars. The owner did everything to make me feel at home, anticipated my needs. Before I asked he was ready to deliver what I needed. Very considerate, with a huge customer focus.

The food was great! Portions lean on GENEROUS. They have all day combo specials!! For about $8.95 you get salad, rice, main entree etc. The pad thai was ala carte. They have different types of salad, a fried rice option too.
    - The basil chicken was good just a touch less in qty than the egg plant
    - The egg plant chicken dish was good, but I would say the egg plant was a little undercooked - kind of hard, not what I am used to. But no matter I took it home and softened them up
    - The pad thai was very very generous (I had 3 helpings while eating in and there was still plenty to take home)
    - The salad is nice with mixed greens and thousand island dressing
    - They also have a macaroni salad that was tasty
    - Nice high quality rice, generous portions
    - I asked for spicy but it came out mild, next time I will really stress it that I can handle it. LOL.

I wanted to eat in for part and take the rest togo. The owner suggested he bring out everything in TOGO containers. Saved time when packing up. Super helpful.

I don't live in the area, but will definitely keep this place in mind.

Although the place is small two tables inside and a couple outside, it was SUPER CLEAN.

Oh yeah their pickled serrano chile's are excellent!
Oh Oh yeah - free thai iced tea w Yelp check in.
